Station 341
The region of Northern Marana, located north of Tangerine Road and west of Interstate 10, has seen explosive growth over the past fifteen years. The development of Marana Main Street and master planned communities, such as Gladden Farms, have drawn new residents and workers into a region once reserved for agriculture. In 2006, Northwest Fire District built a fire station within the Marana Downtown development region to meet the needs of the growing population. During the economic downturn in 2008, considerable slowing of development within the Northern Marana region occurred for several years. In 2016, the District began to see renewed development in the Northern Marana region and began developing plans to add a second station to this area. A site along the Tangerine Road corridor west of Interstate 10 will be home to the District’s newest station in late 2019. This will add an additional layer of protection for the residents and businesses within this region.
