Fire Prevention
Through active involvement with our citizens and community partners, the Prevention Services Division provides courteous, professional services centered around a commitment to protect the people and property within the Northwest Fire District from fire and other hazardous conditions that put the community at risk. This is accomplished through focusing on the development and delivery of comprehensive fire prevention programs including engineering/plans review, fire and life safety inspections, active code enforcement, fire investigations and public education.
Operating under the command of a division chief designated as the district’s Fire Marshal, the Prevention Services division is comprised of 11 highly trained, customer service oriented individuals dedicated to serving the district’s mission of saving lives, protecting property and caring for the community.
