WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IF A TEEN OR ADULT COLLAPSED AND WENT INTO CARDIAC ARREST?

Hands-Only CPR is simple to learn, easy to do, and it’s saving more lives. There are two simple steps to follow but it all starts with you having the knowledge to confidently step into the situation to help.

Hands-Only CPR, or Continuous Chest Compression CPR, does not require mouth-to-mouth and simplifies the cardio-pulmonary resuscitation process for an adult in cardiac arrest.

Our crews respond to an average of five cardiac arrests a week. At the Northwest Fire District, we’ve seen firsthand the dramatic difference bystanders make in a cardiac arrest situation. We want as many people as possible to learn Hands-Only CPR… so, pick the training style that works for you (online or in-person) and learn this life-saving skill today!

To request a Hands-Only CPR training for your office, organization, or group, call (520) 887-1010, Ext. 1200.

Practice makes perfect. Watch two quick videos from the Sarver Heart Center.

Be prepared and make a difference in a positive outcome for an adult suffering from cardiac arrest by watching two quick videos from the Sarver Heart Center,  the team based right here in Tucson, Arizona, that developed this new standard of CPR. The videos show you how to perform Hands-Only CPR and how to use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), a machine that walks you through the steps of safely delivering an electrical jump-start to a heart in need.
